A million dollars won't make any difference to your $1 Labor Day hamburger, except that it might buy you new teeth with which to eat a $10 steak instead

Suffice it then, thou money god, quoth he
That all thine idle offers I refuse;
All that I need I have: what needeth me
To covet more than I have cause to use?

You Can Take Your Labor Day and Shove It

[C]ursed [is] the ground for thy sake; in sorrow shalt thou eat [of] it all the days of thy life;

Thorns also and thistles shall it bring forth to thee; and thou shalt eat the herb of the field;

In the sweat of thy face shalt thou eat bread, till thou return unto the ground; for out of it wast thou taken: for dust thou [art], and unto dust shalt thou return.

-- Genesis 3:17 ff.
